Cream Puffs

Cream Puffs

1 cup water
1 sq. butter
Bring to a boil.  Stir in 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 cup flour.  Set aside and cool about 10 minutes.  Stir in 4 eggs one at a time, stirring hard each time.  Stir about 5 minutes.  Drop by teaspoonfuls about the size of a walnut on a greased pan.  Bake at 350 degrees about 40 minutes.
These are good with the pudding of your choice, cream, or a meat filling!
Enjoy!!

  1. Yummy!... but I'll be using the mixer instead of stirring ;-)

    1. I have never used the mixer on cream puffs. I hope you will let me know how they turn out. I use the mixer on almost everything!
      Hope you enjoy them!

  4. Sorry, I don't bake often... What is an "sq" of butter? A square?

    1. One square of butter is equal to 1/2 cup. Hope you enjoy your cream puffs! I am posting a couple of fillings next week. But you can always use instant pudding, and some people like to put straight whipped cream in them. I like the pudding or meat fillings personally.
      Enjoy!
