Open-Faced Taco

Open-Faced Taco

1 lb ground beef
1/2 tea Garlic Powder
1 tea Onion Powder
1 tea Chili Powder
1 tea Salt
1 tea Pepper
1 - 14.5 oz can petite tomatoes diced
2 - 16 oz can re-fried beans
1- 8 oz can tomato sauce

Tortilla
Sour Cream
Shredded Cheese

Brown ground beef scrambling as you brown it.  (We like the ground beef really fine.)  Add onions and seasoning while cooking meat.  When meat is brown add the diced tomatoes and re-fried beans, and tomato sauce.  Cook until it is hot and bubbly.
In another pan butter the tortilla shell and fry til just golden brown on each side.  While hot put taco mixture on the open soft taco shell.  Then top with shredded cheese and a dab of sour cream.
Enjoy!

  1. Am off my fodder (24 hr 'flu) at the moment, but that even made me feel hungry! But, thought the whole idea of tacos was that one ate them folded? Spoils the fun - one has to eat them neatly this way!
