Homemade Hamburger Helper Potato Skillet



A fast, fresh take on a popular boxed meal.  In a skillet brown your hamburger, I used 1 pound, add some chopped onion if you like.  After the meat is browned, add hash browns, mine were frozen about 5 cups ~ they really shrink up.  Continue to cook until the hash browns are hot.  Top with 1 10 3/4 oz. can Cheddar Cheese.  Heat until cheese is hot and that was as quick as the old reliable standby!
