Bean Salad
1 can green beans
2 cans garbanzo beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can black beans
1 can butter beans
1 can northern beans
1 can baby corn
1 can water chestnuts
1/2 cup chopped onions
Boil for five minutes drain off bean juices then
add:
1 can olives sliced
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
sprinkle garlic salt to taste
1/8 cup molasses
1/4 cup brown sugar
Marinate for 24 hours
You can add or change this according to taste. We
love garbonzo beans so I use 2 cans. You really can play around with this
recipe and change it to your own taste.
Enjoy!
