Sweet and Sour Meatballs

2 pounds hamburger
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1 softball onion ~ chopped
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
pepper
Worcestershire
Mix together in 2 inch balls and put in a greased dish

Sauce:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire
Heat in a saucepan to dissolve sugar.  Pour over meatballs and cook at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Serving:
Great like this on the side or on mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.

Note:  I always double this and pour 1/2 into a ziploc that is label with the Sweet and Sour Meatballs and the date.  It is great to have meals ready in the freezer.  This is how all our meals are when we go camping.  Stacked in ziploc bags.

  8. Thanks for sharing this fun recipe with Share Your Cup. I have a recipe that I use to make alot when my kids were growing up. We loved them, but they were time consuming. I browned each meatball in oil turning them to get all four sides. This sounds so much easier.
