Chicken and Dumplings
2 bay leaves
2 celery stalks
2 carrot sticks
4 whole allspice
4 whole cloves
Salt and pepper
Cook chicken, let cool. Throw veggies and spices away. Pour broth into stock pot and 1 carton Swanson chicken broth (32 oz.) 1/2 stick of butter. Add 1 cup
celery, 1 cup onion, carrots and potatoes. Let cook 30 minutes. Add chicken.
Dumplings:
2 cup pancake mix (I used Krustez mix)
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Mix together, put on top of soup. Put lid on tight. Lower heat cook for 20
min.
