Mom's Log Cabin Quilt

This is a log cabin quilt that our Mom made.
For this log cabin the center block is a 4X4" square.
The strips are 2 inches.
To begin sewing this quilt put a strip on the 4X4" square then sew a 2" strip to one side of that square.  Then trim it to be even with the 4X4" square.  Then add the same color on the end touching the fabric you just added.
Do the same thing with the next color.  Mom did this twice for two rows.
Mom matted this in black to match the the center block.  The matting is 3 inch strips.  Then she used some of the block colors to border it out for a nice finish.
Great job as always Mom, thanks for sharing Mom.
