Sausage Potato Casserole


1 pound pork sausage
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tea salt
3 cups thinly sliced peeled potatoes (about 1 1/4 pounds)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 onion ~ chopped
1/4 tea pepper

In a large skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink; drain.
Put the potatoes in a greased 9X13 pan.
To the drained sausage add soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper.  Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender.  Uncover and sprinkle with cheese.  Return to the oven until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
