RAISIN FILLED BAR COOKIE
Blend:
1 c. raisins
1 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
Mix together:
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. melted shortening or oil
1 egg
1 tea vanilla
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 tea salt
1 tea soda
Divide dough in half. Press one part in bottom of dripper pan. Pour raisin mixture over dough. Sprinkle remaining dough on top.
Bake 15 minutes at 350.
Variations for Filling: Bottled apricots blended. Applesauce, use your imagination!! This is a family favorite. I always double it and it quickly disappears!!
