Heaven Sent Cake



1 white cake mix
1 can sweet and condensed milk
1 carton Cool Whip ~ I used the smaller size
1 cup coconut (optional)
Bake cake as directed on box.  While hot poke several holes in it with a meat fork, and evenly spread milk on top.  When cool spread with Cool Whip and sprinkle with coconut.
Store leftover cake in the refrigerator.
