Cheesy Potatoes

I know this is something everyone knows how to make, but once again we are going to still post these kinds of recipes because everyone has a different spin on them.
  We hope you enjoy this one too.
2 pkg. of 26 ounce frozen hasbrowns
2 small cans of Cream of Chicken soup
1 onion
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 cup cheese
Saute' onion in butter until clear.
Stir in Cream of Chicken soup and cheese.
Mix together well.
Stir in hashbrowns, heat clear through.
Pour into 9X13 pan.  I used two smaller pans so one had onions on top and the other just cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30~40 minutes.
Top with 1/2 ~ 1 cup cheese sprinkle French Friend Onions on top the last 10 minutes.
