There are lots of potato recipes, but if you are like me, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, potatoes so I can't get too many recipes for them.
Peel 4 lbs Russet Potatoes then send through the food processor. (thinly sliced)
Send 1/4 large onion through the grate of the food processor shredding them as small as possible.
1 can of evaporated milk
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheese - stir all ingredients listed together then pour into a greased baking dish . Then top with an additional 3/4 cup grated cheese. Bake at 400 degrees until potatoes are tender. About 1 hour. Top the baking dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
