Venison Steaks

More venison!
These steaks were washed and put in a hot skillet.  I added enough Teriyaki sauce to cover them, this will depend on how many steaks you have and the size of your skillet.  Then squirt about a tablespoon of honey on each steak.  These were little backstrap steaks, you would want more for a larger steak.  Cook until browned on the bottom and turn them.  Once they are turned keep splashing the sauce up on the steaks until they are done to keep they moist, you don't want them to dry out.

Thanks for Buzzing by,

  1. We eat a lot of venison around here. This recipe/method sounds great!
Our favorite way is on the grill. I marinate the meat overnight in a soy sauce/worchiester combo and grill the next day. Guests never believe that it is venison.

    1. My sister has learned some great ways to cook Venison. We were raised on beef and both married hunters. Our hubbies hunt, our sons hunt and I can honestly say that she has come up with some really good recipes. I will walk into her house and it smells so good. She has brought me different recipes to try and it is good. Hopefully you will try it and enjoy it! We would like to invite you to join us at our party on Thursday! Hope to see you there!

  5. I love a good Teriyaki sauce recipe! I've never tried Vennison and bet this would work good with another cut of meat that I already have in the freezer :)

    1. Hi Shauna,
I also like it, I use it all the time. We always have Venison in the freezer it is what's for dinner a lot of nights. I'm sure it would work great on other cuts in your freezer. A lot of the recipes we post under venison I also use with beef, it's my favorite. :o)
