Freezing Zucchini

The Busy Bee's
Freezing Zucchini
1st wash well and cut the ends and any blemishes off the Zucchini.
2nd Slice so the Zucchini will go through your food processor.
3rd Send it through your food processor
4th put the Zucchini in a bag with the amount of Zucchini you are are going to put in the bag written on the bag.  Make sure it is completely sealed.  Then double bag it in freezer bags.  This will be usable for at least a year.  When you use it if there is a lot of liquid don't pour the liquid in your bread or cake.
I do this all of the time and it always works!!  When my husband and I were first married he lovingly called me 'freezer woman'  He thought I put everything in the freezer.  And I kind of do!!  But it's so nice to have hot Zucchini Bread in the middle of the winter!!

  1. This is a really nice tip! I'm fond of zucchini so I always keep one in my veggie bin. Now I have a better way of storing it to last longer. Thanks for this great idea.
