Do you love meatloaf and not always have time to make it? Here is a great way to end that problem. . .meatloaf patties!! MMmmm.
For these patties I used 2 pounds of hamburger
Bread crumbs, about a cup depending on the kind you use
Milk ~ about a cup, enough to wet your bread crumbs so that everything blends well together.
A sprinkle of sage
1 tea. minced onion
Salt and pepper
Mix well and shape into patties. Fry up in your favorite skillet.
When almost finished add the topping.
Topping:
1/4 cup Brown sugar
1/2 tea. Worchestershire
1/2 cup Ketcup

Hubby loves meatloaf so when I make it I usually mix up large batch right away; some to eat at the moment and the rest I form into mini meat loafs, placed on baking sheet; put baking sheet into freezer and once frozen individually wrap and then pop back into freezer for later use. I also wrap my mini meatloafs with a slice of bacon before freezing.
ReplyDeleteOnce nice flavor of onion in your meatloaf; grate your onion
Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing your recipe. Which reminds me, guess I better get some hamburger out of the freezer. :}
